Our School Day
School day begins at 8.50am and ends at 3.00pm.
Churchill Park Academy offers 30 hours and 50 minutes per typical school week.
Morning Registrationis from 8.50am until 9.20am. Pupils arriving after 9.20am will be marked as late.
9.00 – 9.30 is Magic Breakfast
Morning session is divided into two lessons with a break in between.
Lesson 3 takes the students up to lunch.
There are three lunchsittings, at 12.00pm, 12.30pm and 1.00pm.
Lesson 4 ends at 3.00pm, when the students begin leaving for home.

Classes are determined by “Learning Pathway”.

Our School Departments
We are divided into two departments:
Primary ~ Early Years to the end of Year 6
Secondary ~ Years 7 – 14
Each department is divided into ‘Key Stage’ teams. The term ‘Key Stage’ refers to the way the national curriculum is divided.
Key stage 1 ~ Reception – Year 2
Key stage 2 ~ Year 3 – 6
Key stage 3 ~ Year 7 – 9
Key stage 4 ~ Year 10 – 11
Sixth Form (Key stage 5) ~ Year 12 – 14
Magic Breakfast
Churchill Park is proud to be in partnership with Magic Breakfast, providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn.
Magic Breakfast provides Churchill Park with nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons.
Churchill Park is committed to ensuring no child is too hungry to learn.
How will it work?
Classroom Breakfast/Bagels
Brief Description: We will be offering a selection of cereal, porridge and bagels in classes to all pupils. This will be a learning opportunity and will look different depending on the classes pathway.
Experience Pathway: Exploring food and communicating preferences.
Explore Pathway: Develop independence and communicate preferences.
Enhance Pathway: ‘Help yourself’ breakfast to develop independence.
