Scope Local People Programme
A message from Scope.
I hope you are keeping safe and well in these very difficult times and our thoughts are with you all.
I am writing from the Local People Programme in West Norfolk, a project by People’s Health Trust and supported by Scope, the disability equality charity. You may have already have heard of us from some information previously sent by Carl. We had started planning a family event at the school which was going to include the amazing Miniature Donkeys for Wellbeing. Instead we have been able to work with them to create this special video message for you. We hope it brings you a smile and we plan to bring them along to school once it reopens.
We would also like to share information about some of our free Scope resources for parents and children:
- Downloadable Mindful Monster resources.
- An online one hour workshop for parents to help with wellbeing and resilience run by our Parents Connect team. This includes resources they can take away.
- A range of electronic or printed sleep resources to give some help to parents on dealing with sleep issues their children may have.
We are also offering a free 6 month subscription to Mindful Monsters, Scope’s monthly set of activity cards suitable for children of all ages.
If you are interested in any of the above, or in finding out more about the Local People Programme you can contact me by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or mobile 07776650890.
I look forward to hearing if any of this is helpful to you and if you would like to get involved in our project.
With best wishes,
Sophie Pearson (she/her)
